Nantong Xingchen Synthetic Materials Co., Ltd. was established in 1975 as a state-invested project for the production of 30 tons/year yellow, magenta, and cyan film couplers. In 1984, it became a direct subsidiary under the former Ministry of Chemical Industry. In June 1997, with the approval of the Ministry of Chemical Industry, it joined China National Bluestar Group through asset restructuring. In 2000, Bluestar Chemical New Materials Co., Ltd. and Nantong Synthetic Materials Factory jointly invested to establish Nantong Xingchen Synthetic Materials Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as the "Company"). In 2003, to meet its development needs and with the approval of Bluestar (Group) Co., Ltd., the Company partnered with Hong Kong Zhonggang Industrial Co., Ltd. to establish Nantong Zhonglan Engineering Plastics Co., Ltd., primarily controlled by Nantong Xingchen with a 78% equity stake. Nantong Xingchen Synthetic Materials Co., Ltd. is one of the new material R&D and production bases of China National Bluestar Group's Engineering Plastics Division in the southeastern coastal region of China. It primarily engages in the production and sales of high-quality engineering plastics, bisphenol A, epoxy resins, color developers, and other chemical products. Currently, it operates facilities with an annual production capacity of 60,000 tons of PBT polymer, 40,000 tons of modified engineering plastics, 90,000 tons of bisphenol A, 100,000 tons of epoxy resin, and 1,550 tons of series photochemicals.
